The short answer
The big UPSC Telegram channels have hundreds of thousands of subscribers, but on the day we checked only Insights IAS posted a daily Mains question (a link to its SECURE page); the rest post promotions, notes and Prelims quizzes. None of them checks your answer. @WriteUPSCbot does: send a photo of your handwritten answer in the chat and get realistic marks and what toppers did differently in about a minute. We found no other bot that evaluates UPSC answers.

How to use Telegram for answer writing
- Take one question a day: from a channel, or /today in @WriteUPSCbot, which gives a real past question.
- Write it on paper, timed. Typing in the chat is not practice for a handwritten exam.
- Send the photo to the bot, and fix the change it names in tomorrow’s answer.
