How it is marked
The only AI Mains evaluator that marks like a topper's copy: seven criteria, weighted.
Every answer is scored 1 to 5 on each criterion against what a topper and a candidate who just clears the cut-off actually write. The weights are fixed and shown on your result.

What does writeupsc evaluate?
UPSC Mains answers: GS1 to GS4 including ethics case studies, Essay, and the optionals in the bank (PSIR, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Geography). Upload photos of the handwritten pages, and the question is matched against real topper answers to the closest questions.
Does it work for Hindi-medium answers?
Yes. It reads Devanagari handwriting, and for a Hindi answer the suggested changes and the model answer come back in Hindi; some criteria text is still in English. More on Hindi medium.
How is my answer scored?
Seven criteria (content, examples, introduction, structure, diagrams, conclusion, presentation), each placed against what the toppers to the closest questions did, and marks shown as a range on the paper’s own scale. It is a practice estimate, not UPSC’s number; no tool can promise that.
Will it rewrite my answer?
No. You get a named gap and the reason it costs marks, so the fix transfers to the next question while your own structure and voice stay intact.

How long does an evaluation take?
About a minute for a typical two to four page answer. Long essays take a little longer.
Is my answer private?
Yes. An evaluation is private to your Google account unless you choose to share it, and photographs are never shared unless you tick the box.
